Show The Wildcats won the 410 yard relay in a new stadium time of 42.24 seconds. Other individual marks include the shot put with a heave of 51 ft. 4 inches by Riley; the 100 and 200 yard dashes by Montgomery Mont-gomery with times of 9.44 seconds sec-onds and 21.3 seconds; also the triple jump by Montgomery Montgom-ery with a leap of 47 ft. 10 U in. The other stadium record to fall was the high jump with Willie Sojourner topping the bar at 6 ft. 8Vz in. New school records for members mem-bers of the T-Bird crew in-' eluded the mile run by L. Dee Shakespear in the time of 4:3X2 ruuautes; the 120 yard hign hurtlles by Kim Mathe-son Mathe-son in the time of 14.7 seconds; sec-onds; the javelin throw by Gene DeMille at 207 ft. 11 Vs inches; the 440 yard intermediate inter-mediate hurdles by Bob Come-ford Come-ford in the time of 57.4 seconds sec-onds and the triple jump by Glenn Richardson with a leap of 44 ft. 7 34 in. Although new school records were established by DeMille and Richardson their efforts gave them only second place in their events in the dual competition. Shakespeare and Comeford were double wineers for SUSC. I Six stadium records fall in SUSC track and field meet Six stadium records and five Southern Utah State College Col-lege school records were smashed Saturday afternoon at Thunderbird stadium in a dual meet between SUSC and Weber State College. ? Weber State walked off with the team championship with 88 points while the T-Birds garnered 57. All six of the stadium records, re-cords, most of them previously previous-ly held by junior college athletes ath-letes who participated last year in the ICAC conference meet here, were broken by members of th Wildcat crew.
