Five of the six Cedar High youths who won honods at SUSC Industrial Education Day were, frant, left LaNell Shcrratt and Larry Chatter-ley. Chatter-ley. Back are Jim McConnell, Terry Jackson and Kim Camnbell. Cedar High School students win honors at Industrial Educ. Day Burgess picked up a first place and Stan Esplin and Matt Wood second place honors. hon-ors. Welding: Ben Batty had a first place award and Voy Matheson a third. Woodworking: In this department de-partment Charles Woolsey won second place honors and in Leatherwork a .special a-ward a-ward was garnered by Hal Bulloch. A number of sweepstakes and additional honors were 1 picked off by Cedar High 1 School students at the Annual Industrial Education Day activities ac-tivities sponsored by Southern South-ern Utah State College. Events Ev-ents were held Tuesday, May 5. A list of the Cedar High School winners in various categories were listed as follows: fol-lows: Vocational Drafting Exhibit: Exhib-it: Kim Campbell, grand sweepstakes and winner of i llin trpvolinor trrnVnr frr Knct of the drafting exhibits. Sweepstakes honors were also won by Jim McConnell. Second Sec-ond place awards went to Chad Prisbrey, Curt Nielson, Kenneth Harris, Randy Robinson Robin-son and Larry LaFrentz with Al Heaton picking up a third place. Electronic Exhibit, Advanced: Advanc-ed: Sweepstakes and best of exhibit trophy was won by Larry Chatterley. First place honors went to Brent Felix, second place to Allen Egbert and third to Tim Perry. In the beginning division another anoth-er sweepstakes award went to Terry Jackson with Melinda Wilson picking up a first, Hal Bulloch and Clark Segler seconds. sec-onds. Begining Metals: LaNell Sherratt and Mike Sherratt won sweepstakes honors. Coop. Metals Projects: Steve Anzalone and Voy Matheson were honored and Vocational Woods placed Robert Mace with a first and Clyde Mun-ford Mun-ford with a second.
