Show Parowan residents attend Mrs. Paramore's services Mr. and Mrs. Hyatt Bentley and family and Mrs. B. E. Whitney traveled to Provo on Saturday to attend funeral services for Mrs. Laura Para-more Para-more a former Parowan resident; resi-dent; who died there Wednesday Wednes-day following a long illness. The services were held Saturday Sat-urday at 11 a. m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary and burial took place in the Provo City cemetery. Mrs. Paramore was bom in Riverside, Ind. Dec. 28, 1889 to Jasper D. and Lavina Jane Hysong Timmons. She was married to John A. Paramore Tune 12, 1924. He died in Feb. 1956. Mrs. Paramore moved to Parowan prior to her marriage, and they later moved to Santa San-ta Ana, Calif., early in 1940 where she managed a grocery store and malt shop. In 1949 they moved to Provo, where she has since resided. She was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include a brother, W Timmons, Hayward, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Hol-f Hol-f rd (Nellie) Remster, Hills-boro, Hills-boro, Ind., and Mrs. Fred (Helen) (Hel-en) Moore, Waynetown, Ind. |
