Show Gun and Rod Club rabbit hunt kills 347 bunnies The Parowan Gun and Rod Club conducted another very successful rabbit hunt last Saturday afternoon, one that should be instrumental in cutting the summer rabbit population next to the farms bordering on the Little Salt Lake. Dewey Topham, of the club, reports that 24 men participated partici-pated in the hunt and that a total of 547 rabbits were shot during the afternoon, for an average of 23 to the man. High man for the day was Rodney Adams, with 46. Phil Pronk had 41 for second, and others getting over 20 were as follows: Kevin Warren and EIRoy Bryant with 39 each; Ken Guymon and Eugene Robb, 34 each; Dewey Top-ham, Top-ham, 33, Gerald Davenport and Albeit Orton, 30 each; Elwyn Rowley, 26, and Vern Holyoak and LeeArlen Top-ham Top-ham had 21 each. Following the hunt the participants par-ticipants returned to the club house in town where they enjoyed en-joyed sandwiches and drinks, according to Topham. |
