A special attraction attrac-tion during the Winter Classic, which opens this week, will be the appear ance of Corky Fowler, who will present pre-sent a special exhibit on Saturday as a part of the week-long activities. Daring ski acrobat, film star, racing coach to appear at Color Country Classic Wyo., and is currently Winter Sports Director for Calico at Sun Valley. Corky and Calico are now working together to create an experience and mood unique to the sport of skiing. Says Dan Leonard, staff writer with the Washington, D. C. Evening Even-ing Star, "Jean Claude Killy has a rival in Corky Fowler; he also is a skier's skier, who projects all the fun. adventure, adven-ture, excitement, skill and daring of skiing that everyone every-one dreams of." Fowler will appear at Brian Head at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning for exhibition skiing Corky Fowler is not just a daring acrobat on skies, not just a film star, not just a racing coach, not just a world famous instructor, he is all Of these things. Combine these attributes with a zest for living and an incredibly fast mind, and you have a portrait of a man skiing and living with the throttle wide open; Corky Fowler. Corky a famous skiing stylist sty-list and acroibat, has been photographed frequently for posters and magazines, and new has well over a dozen movies and television films to his credit. He has taught with the Sun Valley Sk! School five years, been ' a racing coach with ' Pepi Stiegler's summer racing camp at Jackson Hole. and opening of the Brian Head Racing Cluib Slalom. He will again be seen on Sunday, February 21, along with members mem-bers of the Inter-mountain Ski Instructors Association for mare demonstration skiing.
