Show Open House honors recent newlyweds An open house was held in the Parowan First Second Ward Relief Society rooms Saturday evening, Feb. 13, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Maur-ice Robert Kogan, who were married Jan 9, in Newport Beach, Calif. The open house was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stubbs, parents of the bride. A Valentine decor was the theme carried out for the event. The couple stood in front of a seven-foot Valen- tine heart while they greeted and received congratulations from their many friends and relatives. Parents of the bride also stood with the young couple. The bride's former college roommates, Mrs. Butch (Diana Johnson, Mrs. Larry (Linda) Ellcrton, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Alan (Helen Jean) Stubbs were in charge of the gifts. Dcnise Pendleton, Jill Adams, Pamela Dalton and Bonita Pendleton did the serving. serv-ing. Mrs. Mickic Evans and Mrs. Marie Adams assisted in the kitchen. Two aunts, Mrs. Floreno Adams and Mrs. Mar-iam Mar-iam Lister poured at the serving serv-ing table. A sister Mrs. Ger-aldine Ger-aldine Lamoreaux, was at the guest book. Out of town relatives here iot the event were Zh. and Mrs. Clift Foster of Kearns, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Christiansen of Monroe, Mr. and Mrs. J. Demar Stubbs of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Melling of Cedar City. The couple are now making their home in Santa Ana, California. |
