Show Plans detailed (or annual Eastern Star card party Plans for th,e annual Eastern East-ern Star card party to be held Friday, Feb. 23, were detailed at the regular meeting of the Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star held recently. Ways and Means committee, in charge of tihe event, announced an-nounced that the card party would he held at the Masonic Temple at 7:30 p. m. Tickets will be available at the door at $1.25 per person. The public has 'been extended ex-tended an invitation to attend and participate. The OES meeting was conducted con-ducted by Mrs. Nora Lyman, worthy matron and Floyd Ey-man, Ey-man, worthy ipatron. In addition to the business session of the meeting the ceremony of installation "out of time" was exemplified for Margaret Slye, who was appointed ap-pointed Ether for the ensuing year. The installing officer was Mrs. Marie Endsley, assisted as-sisted by Bernice Lewis, marshal; mar-shal; Marjorie Durnad, chaplain chap-lain and LeLah Wilson, organist. organ-ist. The officers representing the emblematic Star were graciously honored during the evening iby the worthy ma-, tron. Receiving recognition were: Edith Kirtley, Jennie Peters, Margaret Slye, Marjorie Mar-jorie Arrowsmith and Kay Wunderlech. The group enjoyed a social hour and refreshments at the conclusion of the meeting. Myrtle Smith. Gaye Thurston and Winniifred Thompson were hostesses for the evening. |
