Show Thorntons Gather In Parowan For Annual Reunion Member of the Wm. U, and Adelinda Orton Thornton family fam-ily assembled Saturday July 15 at the Parowan Third Ward cultural hall for their annual reunion. A luncheon, served by the Parowan Stake Relief Society So-ciety board, began at 2 p. m, with 74 members of the family assembled. After the luncheon a business bus-iness meeting was conducted by Byron O. Thornton, president presi-dent of the organization, with iS3 members attending. The group voted to retain the present pres-ent officers who are as follows: Byron O. Thornton, president; presi-dent; Merrill Thornton, vice president; Harriet Hicks, secretary sec-retary and treasurer; Afton Werner, Genealogy representative representa-tive and historian with other members of the family, Nancy White, Wm. E. Thornton, Neta Wells, Jean Wightman, Clara Allen and Sylvia Trelease, as board members.
