Show Pony Express Race Entry Fee Due on August 1 Norman Evans, who with Clayton Tullis are co-chairmen of the 1967 Pony Express Race to be held on Labor Day in connection with Iron County-Fair County-Fair activities, announces that the entrance fee for teams to be entered in this race will be $5 per horse, based on a five-horse team. He also states that one-half of the entrance fee must be paid by Aug. 1 in order to-get to-get a team in the race. This race Is open to everyone who can get a five-horse team, and anyone interested in entering the race is asked to contact either him or Mr. Tullis prior to Aug. 1. The only restriction on horses hors-es making up a team, is that no horse that has run in any race meet this year can participate parti-cipate in the Pony Express Race in 1967. |
