Cedar ILgh Students Gam usexui BuiicLng experience This is the third year that the Ceuar city nign senool has onered me studenis a class in carpentry that has practical experience combined wun tneory as its method of teaching. For the last two years tney have pre-cut and paitially assembled cabins that have been reassembled on the mountain later by the owner. This fall the class did the foundation and most of the assembly work on the cabin that had been fabricat-, ed the year before. Now that the weather is colder and work on the mountain moun-tain is stopped, the class has turned to the facilities in the ba ement of the school for its laboratory. By the time this year's project is completed, each student stu-dent will have had experience in placing and finishing concrete con-crete slabs. Along with the foundation and assembly work done on the mountain and concrete in the basement, two cabins are being planned for construction construc-tion this school year. |
