'.,m That most residents of this community have participated in the spirit of Christmas is attested to by the way their homes look during this holiday holi-day season, Home decorations range from a lighted star in the window or a gaily decoratd and lighted tree, to an elaborate elab-orate lighting scheme that takes in the entire home. Several Sev-eral have been constructed around the nativity theme, others are brilliantly lighted stars in the windows, outside lighted trees, etc. Put the family in the car and tour the city some night during the week to view the various Christmas lights in the homes. We are all indebted to these people who have gone to much labor and expense to give our community a brighter look during this holiday season. sea-son. And while we are commending commend-ing the citizens of the community commu-nity for their contribution to the Christmas season, we have other citizens of the area who have contributed much to the livelihood and comfort of our townspeople during the past month. Those are the men of the Parowan City Streets depart-men depart-men and the State Highway workers. During the past several sev-eral weeks of storm and sometimes some-times intense cold and blizzard bliz-zard conditions with snow drifting and filling the air, the members of these crews have worked many times around |
