Friday night the Redmen were at home against ninth ranked South Sevier and Coach Richard Hobbs and his crew walked off with an easy 73 to 61 victory with every -member of the team seeing action and all but two of the Red-men Red-men getting in the scoring column. Early in the third period the Rams struck with lightning swiftness and moved out in front by 10 points to take control con-trol of the game. It was a fulleourt press and tenacious defense that spelled the difference for the Rams as they created mistakes for the Redmen taking possession on those mistakes then converting convert-ing them to points. The Rams also were tough on the boards getting a second effort in many cases to convert con-vert the score. The Redmen matched the Rams through the latter part of the third quarter and gained gain-ed slightly in the fourth period, per-iod, but were unable to makei up the difference.
