Show I.C.B.A.7-10C0RNER The Seven-Up team won the Southern Associated league bowling championship this season in play-off games Sunday Sun-day evening. Seven-Up rolled the high team game of 927 in a 2701 scratch series for the title. Team members were Clare Randall, Kent Savage, Harold Butcher, Roy Batty and Bob Carmoni. The Iron Coun-1 the season took place in the sweeper as 26 of the big games were rolled. Top game of the night was a 278 by Gib Mitchell, Don Neilson hit a 265, Hal Bbyce 258, Floyd Evans 243, Harold Butcher 233, and Kent Dover a 232. These were the biggest and other games were 210, 201, 226 by Bill Dover, Logan Carr rolled ! ' a 203 and 222, Leo Cahoon 225, Phil Hirschi 202, Hal Boyce 218, Clyde Nelson 200 and 204, Kent Pendleton 201, Hump Rosenberg hit a 213 and a 208, Ernie Humphery 207, Bob Hu-lick Hu-lick 207 and 201, Roy Batty 208 and 214, Virge Smith a 214, and Boyd Adams a 204. I I ty Lumber team finished sec-cond, sec-cond, and third place was taken by the Thorley-Ford team. Several real good series were rolled in the play-off games with Hal Boyce taking high honors with games of 205, 216, and 211 in a 632 series. Kent Pendleton rolled a 208 and 203 in a 606 series, and Bob Carmoni hit a 213 game in a 602 series. Some of the better games of the night were 203 by Mel Adams, 202 by Mike Slack, 201 by Carl Hazel, 221 by Roy Batty, and top individual game honors were taken by Clare Randall, as he came up with a 239 for the evening. j The Southern Associated league Wednesday evening rolled the league sweeper, and awarded the prizes to the top winners. Seven-up took the league title as noted above, and top average award went to Virge Smith with a 190 av-! erage. George Petty took top series honors with a 666, and Fetty also took high game honors with a 289. Virge Smith took runner-up honors and I Floyd Evans walked off with runner-up honors to the high game.
