Show Inn at Bryce Canyon Will Open 1967 Season May 13 Superintendent Oscar T. Dick announced today the Bryce Canyon Inn will open for the season on May 13. Lodging, meals and souvenirs will be available to the traveling public pub-lic at that time. The service station will open on May 13 for the sale of gasoline, oil and other automatic products. The Bryce Canyon Lodge will open on June 10 with lodging, meals and other personal per-sonal service in addition to those provided by the Bryce Canyon Inn. Bus service, operated oper-ated by Utah Parks Company, will begin operating from Cedar Ce-dar City to Grand Canyon (North Rim), Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks on June 11. Superintendent Dick further stated Bryce Canyon National Park is open to the public all year. The visitor center is open from 8 a. m. until 5 p. m. during dur-ing winter months and beginning begin-ning in June the hours are extended ex-tended from 7 a. m. until 9 p. m. Uniformed personnel are on duty to assist the visitor. Interpretive programs are held in the visitor center and weather wea-ther permitting evening camp-fire camp-fire programs are held each evening in the campgrounds and at Bryce Canyon Lodge. These program are free and the public is invited to attend. |
