They were j among the award winners at the annual an-nual awards banquet staged Saturday afternoon. They are left to right: Pat- sy Slack, Marilyn Pretty, Margaret Frandsen, president, and Sharon Webb Awards Presented Pink Ladies I For Volunteer Service at Hospital Members of the Pink Ladies, a volunteer organization at the Valley View Medical Center, Cen-ter, received recognition for over 6200 hours of volunteer service at a special awards banquet held Saturday afternoon after-noon at Sullivan's Cafe. Those receiving identification identifica-tion pins were Shirlene Bauer, 88 hours; Flo Fankhouser, 66 hours; Vicki Gilger, 145 hours; Patsy Slack, 160 hours; Naida Gardner, 46; Neicia Mullet, 57; and Sandra San-dra Barton. 42. Those receiving a volunteer pin and 100 hour charm were Eda Carter, 184 hours; Charlotte Char-lotte Douglas, 127; Sherril Lunt, 178; Shirley Marchant, 126; Irma Mathcson, 150; Patsy Pat-sy Slack and Vicki Gilger. Marilyn Pretty was awarded a volunteer pin and a 200 hour charm for 208 hours. Three hundred hour charms were awarded Rea Carter, : 323; Susan Cox, 357; Kate Stevenson, 358; LaPriel Lunt, j 332; and Tamara Green, 305 hours. Presenting sterling silver pins and 500 hour charms to Doris MacCannon, 579 hours, Sharon Webb, 576 hours and Margaret Frandsen, 623 : hours was Mr. Whipple, hos- 1 pital administrator. In addition to the above awards, hospital volunteer member patches, for 150 hours, ' were presented to Ella Easton, 1 188 ; . Marian Esplin, 191; j Mary Jane Little, 289; Loie Jean Murray, 363; Ramona ; Burns, 191, and Rea Carter, j Susan Cox, Ella Easton, Tamara Tam-ara Green, Margaret Frandsen, Frand-sen, Sherril Lunt, LaPriel Lunt, Doris MacCannon, Irma Matheson, Marilyn Pretty, Pat- sy Slack, Kate Stevenson, Eda Carter, Sharon Webb, and Phyllis Weir. Mrs. Margaret Frandsen, president, also acknowledged 38 businesses in Cedar City who graciously contributed door prizes for the special awards activity. Members of the Candy Stripers, Strip-ers, an auxiliary volunteer group working under the Pink Ladies, were also honored and participated in the door prizes, Mrs. Frandsen stated. |
