Show ! Away-from-Office Services Available to Vets Elmer J. Smith, manager of the Veterans Administration regional office in Salt Lake City, announced today that special away-from-office services ser-vices for veterans residing in the Provo area will be available avail-able at the Utah Employment Security Office, 190 West 800 North, Provo, between the hours of 9 a. m. and 3 p. m. Wednesday, May 24. Mr. Smith stated this special spe-cial service to veterans resid- ing in the Provo area will be provided by Russel R. Neilan, contact representative of the Salt Lake Regional office, and i is primarily for the purpose of providing information and assistance to veterans with active ac-tive military service since Jan. 31, 1955, pertaining to benefits bene-fits provided under the new GI Bill, Public Law 89-358. Mr. Neilan will have complete information in-formation on, and the application applica-tion forms used, in applying for educational assistance provided pro-vided under the new GI bill. In addition, he will be able to provide full service in applying apply-ing for all other benefits administered ad-ministered by VA. Mr. Smith emphasized that information and service on all programs administered by the Veterans Administration are available by letter, telephone, or personal visit to the regional region-al office located in the Federal Fed-eral Building, 125 South State Street, Salt Lake City. |
