Show NEWS FROM PARAG0NAH By Hilma Lomoreaux Lynn Kay Topham departed depart-ed Wednesday of last week for his next phase of training in the U. S. Air Force. He went to Norton AFB in California and expects to be stationed there for the next several months. Lynn Kay was entertained quite extensively during his l leave here with many family gatherings and dinner parties planned in his honor. His parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Topham Top-ham and his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Topham of Cedar City all planned affairs for him. He. was also guest of honor at the Claude children and Mr. and Mrs. Blair Mitchell and baby all of Cedar City were Sunday visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones.. Mrs. Irene Topham took a week end trip to Las Vegas to see her mother, Mrs. Eliza Norton. She made the trip with a niece, Mrs. Jack Mc- ; Clary, Jr., of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux traveled to Filmore Sunday to meet their son, Robin, and his family and bring Geral- , dine and the three children to , Parowan for a week's visit. I Robin returned to his home in Orem. j Mr,,, and Mrs. Heber Lund and children of Cedar City ! were Sunday visitors here I with Heber's parents, Mr. and home of Mrs. Doris Williams where Mrs. Gailia Anderson was guest of honor. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Talbot and their family of four were here for the weekend. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot and Miss Ada Robinson. Robin-son. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Rosenberg Ros-enberg of Cedar City also joined join-ed the Talbots for the week end. Mrs. Nellie Dalton is home again after almost a week in the Valley View Medical Center for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rod-habaugh Rod-habaugh of Orem were in town Wednesday for a visit with Mrs. Rodhabaugh's aunt, Mrs. Irene Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Wade and daughter, Margaret, of Cedar City were Sunday visitors vis-itors at the H. Revere Robinson Robin-son home. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton traveled to St. George Saturday Satur-day to get Emma's mother, Mrs. Lula Bastian and Mrs. Bertha I. Topham, who have been doing temple work for the past two weeks. .. Harry Martin of Sirra Madre, Calif, arrived here Thursday to take care of some business matters and to visit at the Melva Barton home. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rose of Oklahoma City, Okla. arrived ar-rived in town Friday to spend some., tim" with a sister, Mrs. S'-lla Edwards and other relatives.' rel-atives.' j Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Miss Julie Ann Benson of Beaver spent Saturday here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux, while her mother and other family members were to St. George for the MIA dance festival. fes-tival. A large number of Paragon -ah people traveled to St. George on Saturday. Some of them participated in the MIA dance festival, some attended sessions of the temple and others just made the trip to see the dances in the evening performance. Some of the group enjoyed picnic between practiises and the festival. Peggy Lamoreaux, Debbie Barton, Alan Robinson and Arnold Lister danced in the couples dances, and the girls ', participated in the all-girls number along with Judy Talbot, Tal-bot, Sue Dunton, Klea Abbott, Pamela Barton, Susan Barton, Barbara Stones and Vie Ann Williamson. Also making the trip to provide pro-vide transportation, etc., were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lamoreaux, Lamor-eaux, Mrs. Lila Stones, Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot ; attended the festival and al-; so enioyed visiting with their : son. Brent, and his family. Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Barton traveled to Panguitch recently, to attend the funeral service for a relative, Mrs. Minerva Worthen. j Mrs. Keith Bess and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Maggie Bess of Cedar City visited at j the D. Amasa Stones home ' Friday. They were enroute home from Provo where Mr. Bess is conf inod to a booital. j They report that Keith is mak-1 ing satisfactory progress nftcr undergoing surgery earlier in the week. j Mr. and Mrs. Alan Stones and children of Parowan, Mr. j and Mrs. Mario Stones and i Mrs. Wilson Lund and sister Gayle. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Rob-j Rob-j inson and their three little boys were here from Salt Lake ' City for the week end. They were accompanied by another couple and their children. Mrs. Mabel Robinson and Mrs. Opal Robb were down from Salt Lake City Sunday. They visited with the Ivan Robb family and other relatives. rela-tives. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Robinson arrived home Sunday Sun-day after an almost two month mon-th stay in Salt Lake City. Mr. Robinson was in the LDS hospital hos-pital for a month of that time and since his release has been convalescing at the H. N. Harris home. I Mr. and Mrs. Harris brought ; the Robinsons home and returned re-turned to the captiol city on Monday. Mrs. Edna Hatch, Mrs Golda Guymon, Mrs. Hulda Hulet, and Mrs. Adele Decker represented repre-sented the Stake Relief Society So-ciety board by visiting our ward Relief Society meeting Tuesday of last week. Mrs. Guymon presented the lesson material at the meeting. Craig Robinson of Parowan spent Friday here with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Rob-1 inson visited at the Ronald Robinson home in Parowan on Sunday and were joined there by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards Ed-wards and son, Paul, of Cedar Ce-dar City who came to visit ; them and Mrs. Olive Edwards. The Rodney Jones family of Mt. Carmel arrived here Friday Fri-day to -spend the week end with the Blaine Jones family. Mrs. Miriam Limb of Beaver Bea-ver was an overnight gup' ' here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson Tucs day of lat week.
