Show I Services Held For Car Accident Victim An very large crowd gathered ga-thered at the Paragonah Ward chapel Thursday, Aug. 21, for funeral services lor Veigene Jones, 23, who was killed in an automobile accident early Monday morning, August 20, when the car in which lie was riding alone rolled over-at over-at the sou ih end of the town. Homer Boardman conducted! the services, and Clark Lam-1 oreaux offered the invocation j after which t ho choir sang 'That Beautiful Land". The speakers were Glen Halter-1 man and Bishop Boyd Robin- i son. Mrs. Rulf Orton and Mrs. Marian Hyatt sang "In the! Garden". The closing song, "Sometime We'll Understand" and Harold Bradshaw pronounced pro-nounced the benediction. Mrs. Melva Barton played the prelude and post hide mu-suc mu-suc and accompanied all the musical numbers. Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson directed the choir. James II. Anderson gave the prayer at the home and J. Leonard Topham offered offer-ed the dedicatory prayer at tile cemetery. |
