Show NEWS FROM PARAGONAH I -v. Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux A number of Paragonah people traveled to Duck Creek Saturday to attend the annual party of the Utah Construction Construc-tion Co. workers. Among those who made the trip were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson! Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Protheiv, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man. Board-man. Mrs. Mary Robinson left for National City, Calif. Friday for a visit with the Keith Peck family and a first look at her new grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb and daughter, Ginger, traveled to Salt Lake City Friday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Barton who went to be near her husband, Dan, while he is hospitalized. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Benson of Ft. Sill, Okla. and their family of five arrived in thi Joe Robinson left paragonah paragon-ah Saturday for the first part of his trip home to Colorado. Mr. Robinson has been visiting visit-ing here with his sister, Mrs. Lula Bastian. and other family fam-ily members. Bruce Stones visited here most of last week with his grandmother, Mrs. Leona Stones. Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mitchell Mit-chell and grandson, Mark Green visited at the Stones home Saturday. Charles Field arrived here from Logan early Friday to join his wife and children at the T. A. Robinson home for the week end. Monday the Fields left for Douglas, Ariz, where Mr. Field will be teaching at nearby Cochise College as a professor of biology bio-logy and chemistry. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Robinson Robin-son and two daughters of latt, Calif, arrived in this area Friday. They are visiting here with Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson and in Parowan Par-owan with the Bob Miller family. Miss Evelyn Mannelito of Brimhall, N. M. arrived here Wednesday of last week to spend another school season with the Myron Abbott family. Legrande Robb traveled north for the week end. He spent Friday night in Orem with son, Clifford, and family fam-ily and then went on to Salt Lake City to visit with other family members before returning re-turning home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Orson Talbot are rejoicing over the arrival of a new grandchild. Ardell and Julie Talbot of Lone Pine, Calif, welcomed an 8 pound 11 ounce boy on Aug. 22. He is to be named Darren Ardell. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Lister and family of Provo visited here recently with Dee's uncles, Orson and Renford Talbot and their wives. Dr. McKay Neilson of Arcadia, Ar-cadia, Calif, and his mother, Mrs. Israel Neilson of Washington, Wash-ington, Utah visited at the home of Mrs. Melva Barton one day last week. Miss Patricia Stevens of Cedar Ce-dar City was a week end vis. area Wednesday of last week and have spent part of their time here with the Myron Abbott Ab-bott family. Greg and Andrea Clark of Cedar City were here for the week end with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton. Saturday visitors at the Earl Thorntons included all of his aunts, Mrs. Merle Bate of American Fork, Mrs. Lorette Stoddard of Tooele, Mrs. Jessie Jes-sie Lay, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Isa Barton and her husband, Penn, of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson Rob-inson and daughter of Salt Lake City visited here with Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. Robin-son. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Topham had a new grandchild grand-child waiting for them when they returned from their trip to Oregon. An eight pound, two Ounce boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Topham, Top-ham, Jr. of Salt Lake City on Aug. 11. The baby is to be named Kenneth Brian. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Robinson Rob-inson and family of Richfield were here from Friday to Sunday Sun-day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson. Mitchell Robinson of Cedar City spent Saturday here with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson. Mrs. Ivy Skougaard and two children of Cedar City spent Monday here with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Row drove to Las Vegas, ThuTS! to take their grandchildren, Lonnie and Beth Edwards, to catch their plane. The young people were returning home to Spring Valley, Calif after vacationing here. Mr. and Mrs. Row visited friends in Vegas for a couple of days and nights and returned return-ed home Saturday. itor at the Barton home. Antone Robinson was one of the lucky bow and arrow hunters the past week end and had a fine buck to take back to Salt Lake City Monday. Mon-day. Connie and the children returned re-turned to the city with him afte- spending much of the -summer- in-Paragonah. - Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux traveled to Salt Lake City Thursday to attend the annual Municipal League Convention. They brought Mrs. Geraldine Lamoreaux and three children of Orem back with them. They will spend a week in Parowan with the Roy Stubbs family. All members of the Blaine and Alice Topham Jones family fam-ily of Paragonah were present pres-ent for the funeral services of Vergene Jones who lost his life in a car accident last week. Claude was given emergency emer-gency leave from his army duties in Germany and flew life in a car accident last home. He will be here until at least the middle of September. Septem-ber. The Rodney Jones fam-iliy fam-iliy came from Fredonia, the LeGrande Leighs from Plain City and Carolyn and little Richard remaining here for a time. J. B. and family and David and Claudia Pack came from Sale Lake City; the Harold Har-old Bradshaw family from Beaver, Mrs. ' Ruth Prothero of Motebello, Calif; Mrs. Mary Rice from Price, Mrs. Lavern Stevenson and son Leon from Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Sher-idan Fiack from Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Fiack came from Pioche, Nev; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Fiack, Mrs. Joyce Leigh, Mrs. hirley Haycock and Mrs. Romola Fretwell of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. D. R.
