Show NEWS FROM NEWCASTLE Mrs. Normo Christensen Visitors last week at the home of Mrs. Mary Tullis were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Caskins and family of Anaheim, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christian Chris-tian and son Charles of Pioche, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Way (Sydney) (Syd-ney) Terry and little son of Enterprise also visited with their mother and sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Evans and little daughter of Cedar City, visited last week at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen. Mrs. Nita Rae Hulet and family visited last weekend at the home of her folks, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Reber of Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nev. She also traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., and visited family members there. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Cassie Christensen were her daughter, Mrs. Norma Thomas and family of Enterprise and also her son Caine Christensen of Las Vegas. Mrs. Iva Harrison and daughter Marsha, traveled to Salt Lake City this week on a combined business and pleasure plea-sure trip. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Eng- strom and family of Ogden were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Mrs. Engstrom is a sister of Norma. With the starting of school, Newcastle people are happy to have Jack and Mary Walters and their family back in the ward again. Jack moved his family to Cedar City while he attended summer school there. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen and family journeyed to Salt Lake City last weekend where they attended the State Fair. Wayne Piatt accompanied accompan-ied the Christensen's to the fair. Word has been received that Mrs. Effie Beacham has been released from the University of Utah medical hospital and is staying at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sharon Seals. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Christensen Chris-tensen traveled to Leeds Monday Mon-day to visit at the home of Katherine's folks, Mr. and Mrs. David Sterling. Miss Kathie Knell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Knell visited at home last weekend. Kathie is a student at the Col-lege Col-lege of Nursing at the University Univer-sity of Utah. |
