Show Parowan High Track, Field, Tennis Squads Going to Dixie Although the flu bug at the Parowan High School has taken out a number of men on the track, field and tennis squads, Coach Lowell Caldwell is in hopes that he can take a representative rep-resentative squad of performers to the annual Dixie Invitational meet in St. George on Saturday of this week. He lists the following follow-ing squad members who will make the trip, and there may be others ready to go. Mike Hulet, 440, Garth Decker and Randy Bentley, hurdle events, Phil Burt, broad jump and relay, Wayne Rowley and Wayne Stubbs, sprints; Alan Orton and Jim Harris, in the middle dis-' dis-' tances and Lloyd Stubbs, mile. Making up the tennis squad will be Mahlon Dalley, and Ken Watson, veterans, with Brent Adams, Jerry Robinson and Del Hulet, with possibly one or two others. Coach Caldwell informs us that a student trainee in physical phy-sical education from College of Southern Utah, Jack Quintana, is assisting him in the tennis training program. |
