DUNN Member, First Council of Seventy Church of Jeiui Christ f Latter-day Saints Leading officials of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will attend the Cedar West Stake Quarterley Conference Saturday Sa-turday and Sunday, April 2 and 3, at the Cedar West Stake House. They are Elder Paul H. Dunn, a member of the First Council of Seventy; Elder Berkeley L. Bunker Bunk-er of the Welfare General Board; and Elder Doyle L. Green and Leta C. Pugh, representing the Mutual Improvement Associations Associa-tions for young men and women. They will speak at conference sessions and confer with local leaders. General sessions of the confer-once confer-once will be held Sunday at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. in the Stake Center. Stake President Theron Ashcroft, will conduct all sessions. ses-sions. Elder Dunn served as coordinator coordin-ator of LDS Institute of Religion in Southern California from 1962 to 1001. He began his association with the Church's educational system 10 years earlier as a seminary sem-inary teacher in Los Angeles. lie was a professional baseball player play-er before receiving his doctorate in educational administration at the University of Southern California. Cali-fornia. He is the author of a book on teaching techniques. Elder Bunker, a former United States Senator and Congressman from Nevada, is presently a Las Vegas businessman. He also was mission president of the Church's Southern States Mission. Elder Green is managing editor edi-tor of the Improvement Era, the official month'v Church magazine. maga-zine. He has traveled extensively on photographic assignments for the Church. I Mrs. Pugh has been active in the auxiliary organizations of the Church and served with her husband hus-band who presided as President of the Northern California Mission. |
