Show NEWS FROM KANflRMVILLE By Hannah Darts Many parents and friends attended at-tended the high school graduation gradua-tion exercises at Cedar City. Those from here who graduated graduat-ed were Gayle Pollock, B. N., Keith and Kenny Williams and David Davis. Mrs. Amy Adams of Salt Lake City visited here with Mrs. Ma-ble Ma-ble Williams. Boyd Reeves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves, has returned home after filling a mission for the LDS Church. Boyd and Allison Alli-son Williams of Inkom, Ida., were the speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Allison Williams and family of Inkom, Idaho, spent several days here with their mother, Mable Williams. David Williams, son of Ethna Ford, has returned home after four years in the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Piatt and daughter LaVera of Riverton, spent a few days here over the memorial day week end at the home of his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Davis. Mrs. Fcrl Zohner of Las Vegas was in town on her way to Pro-Vo Pro-Vo to attend the graduation of her son Kelvin from BYU. Mrs. Valena Bladen and Doris Williams of Cedar City spent Wednesday visiting Valena's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams. Visiting about town over the week end with relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Reeves and their daughter Geraldine and family of Monrovia, Calif. Mrs. Kenneth Williams and girls and Lillian Wiihams, spent a day last wck in Kanab where they went to take their aunt Mrs. Lillian Ashby. who had spent the past ten days here visiting. Visiting here with their parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Junius Williams, Wil-liams, are Mr. and Mrs. Kehey Taylor and boys of Las Vegas, and Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Williams Wil-liams and Mrs. June Carter of Salt Lake City. They are here because of the illness of their father. Keith Pollock was in the Iron County Hospital for a few days receiving medical care. Hettie Pollock has returned home after spending several weeks in Las Vegas with some of her children. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Higgbee and grandson Gene Perkins are here to spend the week end from Redondo Beach, Calif. Visiting the Preston Williams family Sunday they spent the day in Kanab and at Glen Canyon Can-yon Dam. They were accom-yon accom-yon Dam. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Lillian Williams and her grandson, Kent Bladen. Here for Memorial Day are Mr. and Mrs. Gus Pinele of Las Ve gas and Mrs. Effa Parker anif daughter Verdon of California. ' Sharla Wood of Las Vegas, and her mother, visited here with relatives. rel-atives. Sharla attended the MIA. Dance Festival at St George. Sunday victors here were Mr. and Mrs Don Robinson and small daughter of Cedar City. Hannah Davis spent last week in Summit with her daughter, the Rudger Fife family. Mrs. Fife is convalescing from surgery. Mrs. Davis attended the graduation gradua-tion of her granddaughter, Donna Gayle Fife. Donna Gayle wa chosen girl of the year. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Bladen of Cedar City entertained members of their family Monday evening visiting and enjoying a lovely dinner. Those present from here were Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams, Wil-liams, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hig-bee Hig-bee and Kenneth, and Colleen Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Reeves and son Bruce were visitors in Salt Lake City for a few days where Mrs. Reeves was to have a check up with her doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pollock and family were business visitors in Las Vecas recently. |
