Show Last Rites Accorded Thomas Joseph Bryant Funeral services for Thomas Joseph Bryant, 69, were conducted conduct-ed in the Cedar First Ward, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, May 24, under the direction direc-tion of DeVon Reeves, member of the ward bishopric. Mr. Bryant died at the Iron County hospitial, Monday, May 22 following a lingering illness. Prayer at the mortuary prior to the services was by Bp. Reeves and the invocation at the chapel was by Ervil Asay. Prelude and postlude music was by Clive Hartman at the organ. or-gan. Speakers at the services were Joseph Bettridge and Charles R. Hunter with remarks by Lowell Sherrett. Musical numbers Included two numbers, "Jesus Lover of My Soul' and "My Father Knows," by a quartet composed of Wm. Condie, L. C. Miles, Mamie Eck and Alice Williams, accompanied by Beth Leigh. Benediction was pronounced by H. H. Lunt with Parson U. Webster dedicating the grave at the Cedar City cemetery. Flowers were under the direction direc-tion of the First Ward Relief Society; and Harold, Kay, Jerry, Dell V. and Forrest Bryant, all nephews of Mr. Bryant, served as pall bearers. |
