Show Donald B. Rowley Called to Scotch-Irish Mission ! i '- ' t V r- ELDER DONALD B. ROWLET Slated to be honored at a farewell fare-well testimonial on Sunday, June 4, Is Elder Donald B. Rowley, prior to his departure to serve as an LDS missionary in the Scotch-Irish Mission. The testimonial testi-monial will be held at 2 p. m. as a part of the Parowan Third Ward Sacrament meeting, which ward he will represent in the mission field. Elder Rowley, a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, will be the second member of the family to be serving In overseas mission mis-sion fields, as his twin brother. Douglas, is now serving in the French Mission. Donald has been attending the Dixie College in St. George for the past two years and from which he will graduate at exercises exer-cises on Friday of this week. He also graduated from the Dixie College LDS Institutes a week -ago we understand. He has been very active In dramatics at the St. George whool. Speakers at Donald's testimonial testimon-ial will be John Sanders, a returned re-turned missionary from the St. George stake, a brother, Rodney A. Rowley with remarks by Bishop Bish-op Verl E. Taylor and a response by the missionary. The opening and closing songs will be by the ward choir and special musical numbers will be a trumpet solo by Robert A. Row-ley, Row-ley, a brother, a vocal solo by Claire Dale Terry, a sister and a i vocal duet by the Terry Sisters. iKfrla and Becky, nieces of don-ald. don-ald. Invocation will be by Randy Peterson, a school frnd, and the I benediction will be by a brother, Doyle B. Rowley. |
