Show Placement Examinations Scheduled by CSU First placement examinations will be administered at the College Col-lege of Southern Utah Counseling Counsel-ing Center on Saturday, June 10, beginning at 8:30 a. m. Announcement An-nouncement of the program was made by Prof. Vern Kupfer, chairman chair-man of the CSU Student Counseling. Coun-seling. This first series will be administered ad-ministered only to students planning plan-ning to enter CSU as freshmen next fall and will consist of the regular American College Testing Test-ing forms. Parents of prospective students will be entertained with a campus tour and orientation sessions while the tests are being be-ing taken. Prof. Kupfer urged all students to make this early session in order or-der that best possible use of test results may be made in counseling coun-seling with students. It was noted not-ed by the counseling head that the tests are not for the purpose pur-pose of elimination of students but merely for advising them. The placement testing will last approximately three hours and a charge of $3 will be r.vvJe. Next test period will be held Thursday, Thurs-day, July 6 for any Interested student stu-dent regardless of the college or university he plans to attend. The ACT test results will be mailed mail-ed to the first three colleges or universities of the student's choice, said Kupfer. |
