Ward of this city, has been called to fulfill a mission for the LDS Church In the West Central States with headquarters in Billings, Mont I Miss Ward will be the third member mem-ber of that ward to be called to that mission, with Elders James C. Burt and Kenneth Rowley, already al-ready laboring there. Miss Ward has been employed in Salt Lake City for the past year where she has been active In LDS activities, as she was in Second Ward activities before taking employment In Salt Lake. Speakers at the testimonial will be Bishop George F. Rowley, Ruper Hulet, with remarks by Bishop Gordon Farnsworth, Miss Ward's parents and a response by her. The opening and closing songs will be by the congrega- 1 MISS SARA WARD tion, and special musical numbers num-bers will Include a piano solo by Sherry Wheatley, a vocal solo by Alma Holt, and a second piano pia-no solo by Linda Knell. A brother, Parker M. Ward, will offer the opening prayer and a brother-in-law, George S. Halterman, Halter-man, will offer the benediction. Miss Ward will report at the mission home in Salt Lake City on Monday morning, June 12. |
