Show Registration Dates Listed for Girls' Program Summer recreation program for girls from age five through 18 will get underway Monday, May 5, with registration at the Cedar City High School, according to Ann Sherratt and Phyllis Chat-terley, Chat-terley, who will conduit the program pro-gram this year. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. for girls from age 5 to 9. At 10 a.m. girls 9 through 13 and at 11 and 12 girls of age 13 through 18 should register at the high school. All girls should register re-gister whether they have previously previ-ously filled out an application blank or not, the co-directors said. During the summer months a host of activities have been planned plan-ned for the girls of the community. commun-ity. They will include the following: fol-lowing: Modern dancing, folk dance, baton twirling, tennis, badminton, badmin-ton, precision marching, social dancing, body conditioning, soft-ball, soft-ball, volleyball, and water sports (ballet, games.) Sports to be carried out periodically periodi-cally throughout the summer are: Bike riding, play day, roller rol-ler skating, water sports (skiing, surfboard riding); camping and hiking. |
