Show Cedar City Social Swing Stopping to visit in Cedar City is Mrs. E. E. Mahoncy, sister of Mrs. Leslie Pace. Mrs. Mahoney arrived from Vellejo, Calif., to en-Joy en-Joy a visit with her sister and family before continuing on to a new home at Fort Huachuci. Ariz. j Mr. and Mrs. Ralph B. Saturday evening Mrs. T.ulon Bulloch and Mrs. Arthur Wallace entertained the wives of the PIE drivers at a buffet luncheon dur-i dur-i lng the hours from two until five o'clock, at the Bulloch home. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace presented each of the wives w,th a lovely rose corsage in appieciatlon for the manner in which they help their husbands in their profession. profes-sion. Julie Ann Yergensen celebrated her 11th birthday Monday evening eve-ning by Inviting to her home for barbecues 25 friends. The early part of the evening was spent, playing games and opening gifts after which she treated h?r guests to a movie. Captain William W. Higbee recently visited In Cedar City en- route to Hickam Field, Honolulu, -Ifor future assignment. While jhere he visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Higbee and with his brother. Clyde Higbee and family. After leaving Cedar and while awaiting await-ing flight from San Francisco. Capt. Higbee received word from Albuquerque, N. M., that his wife, Roseanne, had presented him with a new baby girl. Mrs. Higbee and the three children will Join her husband as soon as they are able to travel. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leigh had as house guests last week Mrs. Samuel Major, sister of Mrs. Leigh, and her four children. Mrs. Major returned to her home in Nephl until school is out at which time she plans to make her home here In Cedar City. Sharon Hall, Kirby and Fmber Lambert to help her celebrate the occasion. Prizes were given to Lauren MarcDonald and Janet Higbee for being the best "hobos." "ho-bos." Wednesday evening at a candlelight can-dlelight dinner given by Captain and Mrs. Ralph Holmer, Mr. Lam-bctt Lam-bctt was honored on his birthday birth-day anniversary.
