Miss Grimshaw's outstanding repord in seminary and high school study won award for her. Eleanor Grimshaw Wins Heaton Scholarship Miss Eleanor Grimshaw was recently presented the coveted Lois Baird Heaton Memorial Memor-ial Scholarship, presented to a Cedar LDS Seminary student by Louis E. and Allen Heaton for the current year. Miss Grimshaw, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Grim-shaw Grim-shaw and a member of the LDS Seminary Graduating class, received re-ceived the award at the Seminary Semin-ary graduation exercises Sunday evening at the Cedar LDS Stake House. Selection of the recipient, who was required to be enrolled in the fourth year Seminary class, was based on scholastic attainment attain-ment In both seminary and high school, character in living LDS standards and service to the church and seminary. Rex Spack-man, Spack-man, seminary director, reported I that Miss Grimshaw excelled In .every respect In the qualifications qualifica-tions required by the sponsors of the scholarship. The scholarship ht for $100 and may be used at an accredited university or college of the recipient's re-cipient's choice where there is an LDS Institute of Religion, which the recipient agrees to attend while scholarship is administered, administer-ed, or the Brlgham Young University. |
