Show Citv Volunteer Firemen Work on Convention I Preparations are well under way for the 47th annual convention con-vention of the Utah State Firemen's Fire-men's Association to be held In Cedar City on Aug. 1, 2 and 3, with the Cedar City Fire department depart-ment as official host. At a meeting of state association associa-tion officers with local committee commit-tee workers held In Cedar City last week, convention plans were discussed and approved, Ralph Hanzon, Cedar City fire chief, and general convention I chairman, stated. I Ross L. Glass, secretary and .treasurer of the Cedar City fire department, and second vice president of the state association, associa-tion, is acting as co-chairman with Mr. Hanzon.
