Show By Homer Jones BOLLYWOOD MUSIC and TOUR SNAPSHOTS Hollywood producers will tell you that the musical accompaniment accompani-ment that runs along with motion mo-tion pictures isn't really intended intend-ed to be beard at all. If you become consciously aware of the "mood" music when you're watching a movie, the Job hasn't has-n't been well done. Backgrounds for your snapshots snap-shots are a lot like these musical backgrounds. They "belong" the picture wouldn't be right without them but when the background interferes with the main subject, the picture simply isn't as good as it should be. We've al seen examples of poor backgrounds the picture that "features" the blank side of a house, the scenic complete with incongruous telephone pole, and alas the unfortunate snapshot snap-shot that has a tree "growing" out of Aunt Abbey's head. The remedy is simply to think of your pictures as pictures when you press the exposure button. Think of your camera's finder as a "frame" for your snapshot, and be sure that everything within that frame is something you really want in your picture. If the background isn't suitable, walk your subject to a slightly different location ... or move your camera to a different angle ... or simply bend a bit and shoot up at your subject. (An upward angle is our favorite so luction to the problem there Just Isn't a more attractive snapshot snap-shot background than sky and fleecy clouds. I could go on with picture-taking picture-taking tips like this by the hour. And I will, too, at the drop of a snapshot. Bring in some of yours next time you're In the neighborhood, neighbor-hood, and try me. I'll be delighted. delight-ed. PHOTO Never a (7 BETTER CAR- ' JTT ,-v3 Never a ' 7w5 11 BETTER M BUY!
