Bride is former Miss Dorlene Lamb, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Lamb. Dorlene Lamb Recites Vows with Roger Parry In Beautiful Double Ring Institute Ceremony Dorlene Lamb and Roger C Parry were united in marriage on Aug. 11 in the L D S Institute of Religion. The bride is a daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Stew-art W. Lamb, and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester A. Parry, all of Cedar City. The double ring ceremony was performed by Bishop Austin Hey-wood Hey-wood before members of the Immediate Im-mediate families and dose friends. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Prayer was by Lowell Sherratt, Jr., and the wedding march was played by Ferrol Dean Whaicou. The bridal party stood before a lighted candelabra and matching match-ing baskets filled with gladioli. The bride was lovely in a gown of imported French lace and tulle over satin, with a fitted hnriiro fnthinnt-H with n hltrh neckline of tulle edged with hand clipped and appllqucd lace flowers, long pointed sleeves and pointed In the front and back at the waist from which fell her bouffant skirt of tu'le tprS pjvt lace inserts, and drifted into a chapel length train. A pearl and sequin trimmed queen's crown held her fingertip veil of pleat-' ed tulle. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses centered with a white orchid. The bride and groom were honored hon-ored at a reception immediately immediate-ly following the ceremony. Attending the b'ide as matron of honor was her aunt, Mrs. Sher- J lene Conger of Las Vegas, Nev., Maid of honor was Deanne Dur-rant Dur-rant and bridesmaids were Ja-nine Ja-nine Bauer and Mildred Sanders. The attendants wore orchid dresses dres-ses fashioned alike of flocked nylon and carried nosegays of yellow centered daisies. Petite Sherrl Sherratt and Pat and Pam Bryant were flower girls, appear-ing appear-ing in yellow nylon dresses and carrying tiny nose bays of orchid and white asters. Mother of the bride wore beige crepe and lace. Mother of the groom wore orchid lace and corsage of pink carnations. Best man was Stan Slrck. and ushers were Kenyon Parry, Brent Parry, Bill Lamb. Cul!n Holy-oak Holy-oak and Ross Hoyt. Mrs. Marilyn Bauer of Las Vegas. Ve-gas. Nev., was in charge of the guest book. Receiving gifts were Drex Pary and Shcrwin Parry 1 In the gift room were Yvom-Parry, Yvom-Parry, May Vonna Parry an-1 Yvonne Ashman. Music war played throughout the evening by Ferrol Dene Whateo't. Pouring were Theon Sherratt and Donna Hallman. Scrv'np were Bobbett Bauer. Linda Bryant. Bry-ant. Nellie Rae Whatcott and Roselyn Leigh. Helping in the i kitchen were Wanda Hoyt. Mrs Irene Bryant. Janiel Bryant. The beautiful bride's cake was made by Mrs. Ross Berry. The couple will honeymoon In Yellowstone Park and Sun Valley, Val-ley, Idaho. They will return to make their home in Cedar City where they have a newly built home. |
