Show I December Meeting Held by 0. E. S. Chapter Cedar Chapter No. 20, Order of Eastern Star, met for its regular meeting Monday evening, Dec. 12, at the Masonic Temple with Mrs. Fred Biederman, worthy matron, and Harlan Durand, worthy patron, presiding. I.w iallatlon ceremonies were conducted by Bern Ice Lewis, treasurer, trea-surer, and Thelma Gutheil, chaplain, chap-lain, who were unable to attend the group Installation on Nov. 26. Installing officer was Evelyn La-Frentz, La-Frentz, assisted by Raymond Wilson, chaplain; Jean Butler, marshal, and Lelah Wilson, organist or-ganist Reverend Raymond Wilson gave an interesting history of the "Star of Bethlehem," explaining explain-ing the origin and beliefs of the different countries of the world. At its conclusion the members sang "Silent Night, Holy Night." a fitting tribute to the approaching approach-ing Christmas season. Refreshments were served in the recreation room at the conclusion con-clusion of the meeting by Mrs. Fred Bunnell and Mrs. Fred Biederman. |
