More to Sea Santa Mr. Smith stated that the visit to the school would allow more children an opportunity to visit than has been possible in the past. The Christmas program of the Elks Lodge will continue on Saturday Sat-urday when hundreds of boxes ,of groceries will be distributed i throughout the county. As In the past each box of groceries that is distributed by the Elks Lodge will contain a turkey for the Christmas dinner along with other oth-er food Items. In addition to these some $100 worth of certificates certi-ficates will be given for clothing and approximately 180 widows In the county will each receive a fruit cake from the Elks Lodge. Annually the Elks expend well over $1000 on their annual Christmas projects which helps Insure a Merry Christmas for hundreds of residents and children chil-dren each year. |
