Show Modena Resident Dies of Heart Attack Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed at the Modena Hall Saturday, Dec. 17 for Charles Allen Fleming. Flem-ing. 59, who died Wednesday, I Dec. 14 at the railroad depot of a heart attack. ' He was born May 3, 1901, at I Marengo, 111., to Clarence Robert Rob-ert and Ida Weist Fleming. He 'married Ethel Goodman in 1921, later divorced and married Effie Ellen Packham, Aug. 10, 1928 at Milwaukee, Wis. He has served as a Union Pacific Pa-cific Depot agent at Modena. Services were conducted by ,Rev. Hajold Dillman of the First Baptist Church in Cedar City. Rev. Dillman was the speaker at the services and a musical number num-ber was given by the ladies of Modena. Survivors include his widow, Modena; two daughters, Mrs. Terrance (Donetta) Moran, La Puente, Calif; Mrs. Audenne Her-big, Her-big, Compton, Calif.; his mother, a brother, Clarence F. Fleming, Wisconsin, ani three grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Services were under the direction direc-tion of the Winterrose Southern Utah Mortuary of Cedar City and burial was In the Modena cemetery. |
