Show I First Grade Teacher Is Newcastle Native i Miss Cleo Tullis la teaching a first grade in the nw South Elementary Ele-mentary School. Cleo is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Tullis of Newcastle. She spent her early days In Newcastle New-castle and rode the bus to attend school In Cedar City. She later graduated from the Cedar City High School. After graduation from high school she enrolled at the College of Southern Utah iwhere she graduated in the spring of 1960. Of course, Cleo majored in elementary ele-mentary education and had her Istudent teaching in the Iron County Schools. Along with her bachelor of science degree, she is properly certificated through the Utah State Department of Public Instruction. ' According to Miss Tullis she enjoys art, ceramics, sewing, swimming and other sports. While attending CSU, Cleo was active In several organizations.: She was president of the Asso-j elated Women Students, president presi-dent of Lambda Delta Sigma, and also president of the MIA Young Ladles in the Eighth iWard.
