I Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton re- celved word last week of the birth of their first grandchild. A boy was born at the Holy Cross Hospital on Dec. 12 to Bill and Annette Inglesby of Salt Lake City. Great grandmother is Mrs. Lula Bastian and great-grandparents great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dalton, all of Paragonah. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dalton traveled trav-eled to Salt Lake City last week end to se the newcomer and his parents. The T. A. Robinson home was the scene of the DUP meeting on Thursday of last week when a Christmas party was held In connection with the regular gathering. gath-ering. Revere Robinson Robin-son arrived home Wednesday bf last week after an enjoyable trip to Californa where they visited vis-ited with their fan Dean and his family and toured some of the Bakersfield, Norwalk, and Long Beach areas. They also visited with friends, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Benjestork and Mrs. Mabel Decker. Deck-er. The robinsons were accompanied accom-panied by Gary Miller of Paro-wan Paro-wan who remained at Long Beach In search of employment. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton 'and son Reed, accompanied by Miss Bonnie Batt of Parowan, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Walk- er of Cedar City, traveled to Salt Lake City on Tuesday of last! week to attend funeral services, for Earl's Uncle, Grant Thornton. Davenport home was the scene of the annual an-nual Primary Officers party on Friday evening of last week.
