Show NEWCASTLE NEWS NOTES I Most of the houses in town are starting to get their Christmas Christ-mas lights up and their trees decorated, so it looks real cheerful cheer-ful and Chrlstmasy. M,r. and Mrs. Trusten Hart and two little daughters spent the week end in Utah's Dixie, visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Harrison Harri-son in St. George, and Claire's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Strat-ton Strat-ton of Hurricane. Sunday visitors at the Russell Christensen home were Kather-ine's Kather-ine's mother, Mrs. David Stirling Stir-ling of Leeds, and her brother broth-er Colbert Stirling and his girl friend. Everyone was very interested in his remarks, re-marks, and his picture slides. Miss Donna Rae Hulet, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet, 'celebrated her 11th birthday this week with a party for all of her friends. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Piatt and their family visited in New Harmony Har-mony this past week with Bea's father, Low Prince, and other (relatives and friends. I Also visiting in New Harmony his week was Mrs. Iva Harrison, Harri-son, who visited her father, Ash-by Ash-by Pace, and her sister, Mrs. Camilla Prince. I There have been many parties this past week, and the week 'coming will be the same. The lEsealante Valley Lions Club held itheir Ladies Night Chrlstmar I party in the Valley Recreational .Hall in the form of a pot-luck supper. The Cedar City Rotary Club held their Christmas party Saturday Sat-urday night in the El Escalante Hotel ballroom. Attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Holt. Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Chrlstensen and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christen-sen. Christen-sen. The Newcastle Ward Primary Association held its Christmas party Friday night in the ward hall. Santa Claus was there to give the children candy and nuts, and a talent show was held during dur-ing the program. The MIA held its Christmas party Tuesday night Christmas music and carols were the order of the evening.
