Show State Archery Meet to be Held in Cedar City Utah State Archers Association will stage its annual meet in Cedar Ce-dar City Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 13 and 14, according to Clair Adams of Cedar City, president. pres-ident. Approximately 200 archers from throughout the state are expected to arrive in Cedar City late Friday evening and early Saturday morning for the event. First phase of the tournament will be the formal shoot which will be held at the College of Southern Utah stadium Saturday, Aug. 13. Registration will be conducted con-ducted from 8 to 9 a. m. Saturday Satur-day at the stadium and the shoot will be conducted Immediately following the registration. Sunday the bowmen will move to the Cedar Canyon course for the second phase of the statewide state-wide tournament Registration will again be from 8 to 9 a. m. Registration fee has been set at $2. Host for the state tournament will be the Ats Queo Archery Club of Cedar City. Members have been at work for the past several months preparing for the state association meet and the course and targets are in excellent ex-cellent condition, according to club president, Kent Dover. Public is cordially invited to attend the activities and see the top archers of the state in action. |
