Show NEWS FROM SUMMIT Br. Donna Devenport Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley drove to Salt Lake City early Friday Fri-day to attend LDS Conference. They returned home Sunday evening, eve-ning, bringing Mrs. Elda Fife and daughter Donna Gayle home. Mrs. Fife has been in Salt Lake City since undergoing surgery two weeks ago. Miss Francis Farrow has returned re-turned home after spending the summer at Zion National Park where she has been employed. Here for a week's visit with her is a friend, Miss Mava Gibson of Castle Gate. Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fife had all their family home Sunday. From Richfield came their children. Dr. and Mrs. David Urie and three children, and Mrs. Karen Rider and daughter Heidi. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fife and children came from Parowan and Gillman com- pleted the family circle. Mr. and Mrs. Bcrtrand Dalley entertained for their niece and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mac Jerome recently of Maryland, but who have been visiting the past few weeks in Parowan with Mrs. Jerome's Jer-ome's folks, the Golden Bayles family. Mr. Jerome, who is in the Navy, left Oct. 2 for Okinawa. His wife and family will join him there in several months. The Dallpys served dinner to the Jeromes, Mr. an(j Mrs. Golden Bayles and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ball r.f Parowan. Ncli Madsen is home after undergoing un-dergoing surgery in the LDS Hospital Hos-pital in Salt Lake City two weeks ago. He left the hospital a week ao and went to Springville to spend a week with his son-in-law and daughter, Frank and Afton Clark. His son Ardell Madsen of Cedar City traveled to Springville and brought him home Sunday. Arthur Pratt of Gardenia, Calif. Stopped Sunday to visit with his relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley. Dal-ley. He was a dinner guest at the Jay Davenport home. |
