Show Penny Jar Guessers Make Shrewd Analysis of Numbers At least three people who visited vis-ited the First Security Bank Sat-urday Sat-urday during open house had an uncanny knowledge of how many pennies make a Jar full. The bank offered prizes for the persons who could guess the number of pennies and the first prize winner guessed the number exactly, the second place winner was just eight off and the third place winner Just 10. The pennies were not counted until after the contest, and when they were counted it was fond that the Jar contained 6080 pen. nies, the number guessed by Nel-' Nel-' lie B. Mathews of Beryl. Mrs. Mathews received a five-tube Motorola radio as a prize. Lynn : Nelson, RFD, Cedar City, won ' second prize, an electric frying ; pan, with a guess of 6072, and : Edith Lowder, won a $10 gift I savings certificate for her third closest guess of 6090. |
