Show Meetings Slated ' & By School Board p$ On New Building Expression Sought JT i Of Public ' t'j Sentiment on Plans T r A series of meetings with par. ents of school children and tax- ' payers of the community, have been started for the purpose of studying proposed plans for a new elementary school building In Cedar City, and getting reaction re-action of such people before final plans are adopted. The new building, to be erected has been designed to provide fourteen classrooms, two rooms for each grade, first through sixth and tor kindergarten classes. class-es. He points out that the members of the board feel that all citizens i should be given the opportunty 1 to study the plans in advance, and that if this opportunity Is given people generally will feel less critical of the finished struc- 4 ture. ' School officials are anxious that people give serious consideration consid-eration to the various features of the proposed new school building build-ing and make any sugges tions they may have before final fi-nal plans are completed. Anyone Is welcome to call at the school board office and study tentative ' plans, or to attend any of the meetings that may be called for this purpose. The next meeting will be held at the West Elementary school library at 7:30 p. m. Thursday, March 21. This meeting will be primarily for parents of first grade students, but anyone Interested Inter-ested Is invited to attend. |
