Show Miss Yvonne Benson Weds in Dec. 23 Rites Miss Yvonne Benson became the bride of Mr. Lloyd S. Mc-Daniel Mc-Daniel on Saturday Doc. 23, in a ceremony which took place at the St. George LDS Temple with President Harold S. Snow officiating in the ceremony. Tiie bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucius M. Benson of Parowan and the parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Roy S. McDanlel of Alamosa, Colo. A reception ihat same eve-nning eve-nning In the Relief Society Rooms of the Parowan Third Ward chapel cha-pel honored the couple. For the occasion the bride wore a floor length gown of chantilly lace and net. The fitted bodice was finished with a sweetheart neckline neck-line edged with pearls and sequins, se-quins, and long pointed sleeves. A crown of pearls and sequins released re-leased her double circle, elbow-length elbow-length veil of bridal illusion. She carried a bouquet of long stemmed stem-med rod roses. Mrs. Norma Robinson, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Janice Moody, sister of the bridegroom, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were the Misses Norma Orton, Renee Anderson and La-Verne La-Verne Chapin. They all wore sheath dresses of Ice blue brocade bro-cade and carried bouquets of deep red glamelias. Two young nieces of the bridegroom were junior bridesmaids and wore dresses of the same material. William McDaniel stood as best msn for his brother. Mrs. Peggy Benson was at the guest register. In the gift room were Mrs. Dorothy Griffiths and Mrs. Marlene Williams. In charge of refreshments were Mrs. Pearl! Benson, Mrs. Getta Orton and1 Mrs. Maretta Robinson, and sen lng were Mrs. Marlene Burton and Mrs. ValRae Bryant. The bride is a graduate of Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University. She has taught school for two years at, Marysvale, Calif and is now a teacher in the schools at Mur- ray. The bridegroom has served i for two years In the armed forces, j has fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church in Argentina and is also a graduate of the school of business at BYU. , |
