Show Rams Djped by Enterprise in Practice Tilt The Parowan High School basketball bas-ketball team has two more practice prac-tice games on its schedule, on Friday and Saturday of this week, prior to the opening of league play in the Millard Division Divi-sion next week end, according to Coach John Wood. On Friday night, Dec. 29 the Parowan team will play host to the strong team from Basic High School of Henderson, Nev. and on Saturday night will travel to St. George for a game with the Pixie Flyers, who are also rated as one of the strong teams of the area this year. The Parowan team were defeated de-feated in both games last week end, taking a 60 to 28 shellacking shellack-ing at the hands of the Enterprise Enter-prise Wolves on Friday evening in the Parowan gym, and drop-ping drop-ping their game to the Cedar Redmen on Saturday night by a 54 to 38 score in the CSU field-house field-house in Cedar City. A story of Saturday night's game appears on the sport page of this paper. Friday night the Parowan Rams were practically overwhelmed by the big boys from Enterprise who took a big lead in the opening quarter and went on from there for the lopsided lop-sided win. The Parowan players rate this team as the strongest they have met this year, we understand. un-derstand. However the Enterprise Enter-prise team fell bt;fore the Tigers of the Milfcrd High on Monday night, the team which the Rams meet in their opening league contest on Friday, Jan. 5. However the other three teams in the Millard Division, along with the Rams, are taking bad humps so far this season. So it begins to look like Milford and then a scramble the rest of the way among the other four teams. |
