Show Enoch and Midvalloy By Cora MurU Mr. and Mrs. Roland Anderson Ander-son attended funeral services for Roland's uncle Alex Trimble, at Fillmore Saturday. A really rwd rain storm Friday afternoon damaged some of the grain and corn crops of the area. Lee Clark took a group of Explorer Ex-plorer Scouts on a trip to Yellowstone Yellow-stone National Park. The group Included Garth Jones, Fernley Bryant. Carol Richardson, Richard Rich-ard Grlmshaw. Gail Maxwell and Valdean Williams. They expect ex-pect to be gone for a week. Members of the Hunter Grlmshaw Grlm-shaw family attended the Adams family reunion breakfast held at the Five Mile recreation park in Parowan Canyon Monday morn-Ing. morn-Ing. They also attended the meeting meet-ing held in the evening. The program was given by the Mary A. Ollerton family, in commemoration commem-oration of her 100th anniversary. Miss Marilyn Richardson and Dewayne Alger will be married in the St. George Temple Saturday and will be honored at a reception recep-tion in the Enoch recreation hall Saturday evening. j Friday the Enoch Ward High Priests entertained the Parowan Stake High Priests at an evening program. Mr. and Mrs. Lanell N. Lunt entertained with pictures taken while on a tour of Europe. Refreshments were served. Mrs. Maude Jones is developing develop-ing a Nutria breeding business here and is now offering registered register-ed breeding stock for sale. She states that Nutria has a tremendous tremen-dous future and is destined to become one of the leading furs of the word because of its "soft ness, lightweight, long wearing and tailorable qualities." She feels that it will become one of the leading fur iarming industries indus-tries of the country. She will welcome visitors at any time. The 4-H Clubs of Enoch and Midvalley are attending the club camp at Duck Creek. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Fillerup of Cedar City were speakers in Sac-ment Sac-ment Meeting Sunday. |
