Show Candidates for 4-H Club Camp President Well Qualified with Many Years of Service Highlight of the first day of the annual 4-H Club encampment en-campment at Duck Creek, Is the election of a camp mayor to serve throughout the event. Two young ladies from Iron County will be vying for the position and both have commendable records in 4-H club work. They are Audrey Armstrong, 16, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Armstrong of Enoch, and Colleen Cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thorley Cox of Hamilton Fort. It is Interesting to note that both are the same age, 16, and both have spent seven successive years In 4-H club work and both have attended six previous encampments, each missing one camp since they began 4-H club work. . Audrey has been a member of the Sevenettes 4-H Club of Enoch since Its beginning seven years ago. Since that time she has served as president, vice president presi-dent and secretary plus working on a number of committees. She has spent four years In foods Including a project In home Improvement. This year Miss Armstrong Is studying in her fourth year of clothing. In her first year of clothing she completed both the first and second sec-ond phases of the 4-H project. At the annual encampments Audrey has served on the registration, regis-tration, candlelight and handicrafts handi-crafts committee This year In her club work she has completed complet-ed making peddle pushers, a shirt and party dress. Colleen's club work has been just as full. A number of years she has completed more than one i project and over the seven years of work she has completed projects pro-jects In sheep, sewing, cooking, gardening, conservation and home Improvement. This year her projects Include sewing, home Improvement and sheep. Miss Cox is a member of the Lucky Clovers 4-H Club and has been for six years. Her first year In 4-H was with the 100 Percenters. Percen-ters. She has served as a club president, a position she holds for the second time this year; vice president, secretary and reporter. re-porter.
