Show Parowanites Return from Wyoming Reunion John S. Dalton, his daughters Norma Hammell and Shirley Mercer, and Mrs., Sarah Hulet of Parowan, returned home recently re-cently from a trip to the Yellowstone Yellow-stone Park and Bighorn Basin In Wyoming, were they attended the annual reunion of the Richard Rich-ard Stevens family at Cowley on July 5 and 6. Also In attendance at the reunion re-union from here were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. Deward Bentley and mem-bers mem-bers of their family, and George and Edmund Stevens, two of the remaining three brothers In the original family. The other re-malnging re-malnging member of the family Is William R. Stevens, of Cowley. Mr. Dalton reports that many former residents of Parowan, members of the younger generation genera-tion of the Stevens family, were In attendance at the gathering. He also stated that the family voted to hold next years reunion In Parowan sometime in July. New officers of the Stevens family organization are as follows: fol-lows: Will Stevens, Cowley, reelected re-elected president; Dell Stevens, Laramie, Wyo., vice president; Violet S. Squires, Mt. Pleasant secretary; Ada S. Hullinger, Salt Lake City, historian; Sarah S. Hulet, Parowan, assistant histor. Ian, and Emily Riding genealogist. |
