Bonanza Air Line Officials Make Cedar City Visit The Bonanza Air Lines Who have received a charter to up-ply up-ply air service to Cedar City by the Civil Aeronautics Administration, Adminis-tration, made a preliminary survey sur-vey flight into Cedar City Monday. Mon-day. The flight took the top officials offi-cials of the company along the proposed new route from Phoenix Phoe-nix to Salt Lake City. Bonanza's survey aircraft made stops at Prescott, Grand Canyon, ! Glen Canyon, St. George, Kanab, Cedar City, Provo and Salt Lake , City. The airline technical personnel per-sonnel made studies of the physical phy-sical and mechanical requirements require-ments for Inauguration of service over this recently awarded route. Members of the survey team included Edmund Converse, president: pres-ident: G. Robert Henry, execu tive vice president; Myron Reynolds, Rey-nolds, vice president of operations; opera-tions; William J. Mitchell, vice president of traffic and sales, and various operational department depart-ment heads for maintenance, stations sta-tions and radio departments. I Reynolds stated: TThe cities along this route will soon be seeing see-ing other Bonanza personnel actually ac-tually setting up stations and attending to other details; besides be-sides numerous training flights that will soon be made to familiarize famil-iarize the flight personnel with this latest addition to Bonanza's system." The company, it Is understood, Is contemplating two dally round trips along the, new line and In addition, will attempt an advertising adver-tising program in the East to further fur-ther travel at the Utah-Arizona National Faika nu monuments. Popular DC-3 twin engine aircraft air-craft will be initially employed on the line; however. Bonanza will eventually replace these aircraft with a new F-25 turboprop turbo-prop airplane. |
