Show I Duck Creek Yields Five Pounder to Local Man Periodically Duck Creek Spring produces some of the largest fish in the area and this season has been no exception. On the opening day of the sea-son sea-son Eddie Lampman brought in a four pounder from the heavily fished Duck Creek. That gave Lampman the lead in the Wildlife Wild-life Federation's big fish contest and it was expected to hold the lead for a considerable time. This week, however, Lampman lost his lead to Sheldon Stucki. Stucki weighed in a five pound one ounce rainbow. Where was it from? Duck Creek Spring, naturally. nat-urally. Stucki caught the beauty while fly fishing in the evening hours and he spent 30 minutes bringing the fighting fish into his net. In addition to taking the lead in the season's contest Stucki also won a weekly prize awarded by the Salt Lake Tribune. Trib-une. This week fishermen will be vying for a prize offered by Jones Motor Company. In the junior division of the contest George Bauer pulled in a one pound five ouncer from the Newcastle Reservoir. It was the first prize fish came from that new fishing spot George is a son of Harry Bauer of Cedar City and he is the third son to win a weekly prize in the junior division of the contest.
